About Us

Hi Folks!

As your hosts at Twin Rivers Cabins and RV Park, we’d like to welcome you to our beautiful campground along the Conejos River in Antonito, Colorado.  We are a quiet family campground with quiet time.

We’re located at a little over 8,000 feet in the lower San Juan Mountain Range in southern Colorado with 12 lovely acres nestled at the base of the gorgeous Conejos  with a small branch of the Conejos River on property.

We have 8 cabins, 39 RV sites, a tent camping area and plenty of 100 year old cottonwood trees for shade during the warm summer months. Fishing, hunting, sight seeing, or just kicking back and relaxing, it’s here for you. We’d love to host your stay. Come see us!

Our History

Twin Rivers Cabins and RV Park was formerly known as Twin Rivers Guest Ranch and has had a long and colorful history.  In the early 1930’s, Twin Rivers had an open-air pavilion that served as the local “hot spot” for weekend dances. Prior to that it was host to the Ute Indians as a summer campground in Colorado, most

Antonito

Antonito, our nearest town has a unique history. Before the arrival of the narrow gauge railroad Antonito was called San Antonio Junction because of its proximity to the confluence of the San Antonio and Conejos rivers. Initially settled by sheep herders, Antonito grew steadily as a regional hub for farming and ranching activity.  The community of Antonito continues to grow having distinguished itself as an example of how rural people can come together during times when outside forces attempt to alter perceptions about it’s identity.  The Colorado Trust highlights how the process works very well.

Site of the oldest church in Colorado, Our Lady of Guadalupe, the townspeople of Antonito have devotedly maintained the church which continues to welcome visitors the world over.

2015

In 2015 we installed a huge, 10,000 sq ft. Dog Park so guests can let Fido out for a run!

Practically a Historic Landmark Itself

Twin Rivers Cabins and RV Park’s 12-acre campground offers quiet solace for those who wish to have a home base for exploring Southern Colorado’s vast and wild San Juan National Forest, arguably regarded by many as the most beautiful part of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.
